 A Fun Story About Greed: The Tale of Benny the Beaver

Once upon a time in a lush, green forest, there lived a beaver named Benny. Benny was known far and wide for his incredible dam-building skills. His dams were not only functional but also beautiful, adorned with twigs and leaves that sparkled in the sunlight. However, Benny had one flaw—he was incredibly greedy.

One sunny morning, while Benny was busy gathering materials for his latest dam, he stumbled upon a hidden grove filled with the most magnificent trees he had ever seen. These trees had thick trunks and branches that stretched high into the sky. “If I could use these trees for my dam,” Benny thought greedily, “it would be the biggest and best dam in the entire forest!”

Without thinking twice, Benny decided to take as many trees as he could carry. He gnawed at their trunks until they fell, one by one, until he had a massive pile of wood. Benny sighed deeply and explained how he wanted to create the biggest dam ever but ended up with too much wood instead. Timmy chuckled softly and said, “You see my friend; greed can lead us astray. It’s important to know when enough is enough.”
